Kerstin Gräfe, COO at Amundi Germany, and Dr Katharina Seiler, Senior Portfolio Manager at DWS, join the 12-member committee of the "Fondsfrauen" women's network

Fondsfrauen, the biggest women's network in the German-speaking financial sector, is expanding its advisory board. This body supports the network with a wide range of experience and perspectives in order to come closer to the goal of increasing diversity in the financial sector.

Kerstin Gräfe and Dr Katharina Seiler new members of the Advisory Board

The Advisory Board has now grown from 10 members to 12. The two new members are Kerstin Gräfe, Managing Director at Amundi Germany and COO, and Dr Katharina Seiler, Senior Portfolio Manager at DWS, who manages the DWS Invest ESG Women for Women fund, among others.

Kerstin Gräfe explains her appointment to the Advisory Board: "In my role as a member of the executive board of Amundi Germany and now also of the Fondsfrauen Advisory Board, I would be very pleased if I succeed in inspiring more women and generally young people for the asset management industry," and further: "Asset management has so many facets, it's worth taking a closer look to discover the opportunities that present themselves. My commitment to the advisory board of Fondsfrauen is linked to the mission of sharing my enthusiasm for the industry and empowering young people to find their career path in the industry."

Dr Katharina Seiler on her appointment"I have followed and supported the formation and development of the Fondsfrauen network from the beginning with great interest. For me, this network is a cornerstone for change in the finance industry and essential for attracting women to our sector. I feel honored to be able to contribute my experience to the advisory board of Fondsfrauen and thereby inspire and motivate other women for the world of finance." She adds, "With everything we do, we influence and shape the future – with our actions, our words, and even our thoughts. Questioning the past and turning away from established structures may not always be comfortable, but it is certainly the right thing to do to shape the future in the best possible way."

Women should be able to achieve their professional and personal goals

The Fondsfrauen are pleased about the expansion of their committee and continue to work with the extended advisory board on their goals: To network women in the finance industry across various hierarchical levels and to facilitate regular exchanges. "With all our strength, we want to support women in achieving their professional and personal goals," explains Anne Connelly, founder and CEO of Fondsfrauen.
