The social aspect of sustainable investing

Social aspects are an increasingly important success factor for companies, not least due to the Covid 19 pandemic. Such aspects include gender diversity, equal pay, good governance and fair practices. In the long term, such aspects can positively affect a company’s productivity and profits, which is usually reflected in a positive performance on the stock market.

As sustainable investing continues to grow, women are taking the lead as investors, industry decision-makers and corporate executives. Studies show that women are more willing to accept higher risks or lower returns from investments when investing in companies that have a positive impact on the world, our environment and people.

Join DWS  for a luncheon to deep dive into these topics on 27 October 2022, at 11:30 AM CET at the Widder Hotel in Zurich. Together with Advance, a leading business association for gender equality in Switzerland, we bring together an incredible lineup of speakers, leading women in the financial industry.

During the event, we will discuss the importance of social factors for corporate success, how women participate in stock markets, and what can be done to advance that, wealth and pension planning from the perspective of a woman’s life cycle.

Participants will also have the opportunity to learn about the new DWS fund, „DWS Invest ESG Women for Women“. The fund invests globally in companies that focus on environmental protection, good corporate governance and fair treatment of their employees. The fund pays particular attention to social aspects – to the „S“ in „ESG“ and fosters diversity and inclusion in society.
