We have been running our Fondsfrauen mentoring program since 2017, which has proved very popular. Here, women who have been in the workforce for at least 5 years can apply as a mentee and are assigned a mentor for one year, with whom they can discuss important career points together.

Again and again, young women who have only been in the job for less than 5 years, but who also want to advance their careers, also applied.

Especially for career beginners
That's why we are introducing our Buddy Program specifically for career-starting women from 2022. It is aimed at registered members of Fondsfrauen who are at the beginning of their career and have less than 5 years of professional experience.

For young women in particular, there is a wealth of topics that can be addressed; here are a few examples:

  • Dealing with male bosses
  • Fears of reconciling child and career
  • Do justice to the child and myself
  • What is best practice in dealing with young talent?
  • Am I written off if I work part-time?
  • What is the legal situation?
  • Will I be discriminated against as a young woman, even though I may not want children?
  • How can I network meaningfully as a young woman and make myself visible?

Apply now!
You can apply for the Buddy Program from December 1st 2021 on our homepage.

The application period starts on December 1 and ends on January 31, 2022.

The Young Talents committee will review all applications favorably, and you will be notified if you have been accepted for the upcoming year.

Small group meetings
To start the Buddy Program, we will hold meetings in small groups where topics will first be clustered and then addressed. It is expected that the buddies are willing to actively participate in the relationship with each other and in the group meetings.

Depending on how many applicants come forward and how individual the topics are already at this early career stage, we will see whether the group meetings should be supplemented by 1:1 meetings. If necessary, such individual one-on-one meetings can be arranged and take place by phone or Skype.

Confidentiality
There's no need to worry about your personal details being divulged: both parties sign a confidentiality agreement and the program guidelines. At the end of the calendar year, we ask you to provide anonymous feedback so that the program can be improved and companies receive impetus for the advancement of women.

You probably can't do anything better for your career development... what are you waiting for? Apply now!
