Today, November 3, is World Men's Day!

This special day is celebrated since 2000 and patron is Mikhail Gorbachev.

Basically, this is a men's health action day designed to expand men's awareness of their health.

Apparently, we are on the right track here: While the life expectancy of men was still 7 years lower than that of women on average when World Men's Day was introduced in 2000, the difference could shrink to 4 years in 2060, according to a forecast by the German Federal Statistical Office.

In fact, according to the statisticians, the average life expectancy in 2060 will be 88.8 years for women and 84.8 years for men.

We Fondsfrauen wish: a Happy World Men's Day!
