Something truly special – that was the Fondsfrauen Summit 2025. Not only was it our biggest summit yet, but it was also the celebration of Fondsfrauen’s 10th anniversary. Around 500 women – and a few men – attended a program packed with inspiring speakers covering topics that are rather uncommon for financial conferences, alongside expert panel discussions on current industry issues and high-level masterclasses.
Die besten Momente gibt’s jetzt nochmal zum Nachfühlen im Aftermovie:
A unique vibe
What made the summit stand out was the incredible atmosphere – you could feel it: There are many women in the financial industry, and they can do it all – from delivering top performance and engaging in serious discussions to enjoying their work, laughing, and celebrating. This spirit was embodied by the entrance of our three founders, Anne Connelly, Anke Dembowski, and Manuela Fröhlich, who surprised everyone with a dance performance – and the glitter cannon at the end made sure no one stayed seated. Networking during the breaks was just as important – after all, that’s what Fondsfrauen is about: making women in finance more visible, empowering them, and helping them connect.
Even the men in attendance confirmed: a Fondsfrauen Summit is not your typical industry event. But what exactly makes the difference?
- The photo wall with balloons
- The cozy living room stage setup with plants and rugs
- A super-diverse program
- An amazing atmosphere with truly inclusive networking opportunities
- Valuable goodie bags for every attendee
- More colorful outfits – and shoes!
Most likely, it's the mix of all these things that made the Fondsfrauen Summit 2025 so special.
From unusual to serious to personally enriching
The varied program offered something interesting – and sometimes surprising – for everyone:
Boris von Heesen spoke about the societal cost of toxic masculinity
Susanne Liedtke gave us eye-opening moments with her talk on menopause
Trends in pensions, asset management, and investor psychology
Two masterclasses, a workshop for young professionals, and tons of career tips – pure knowledge!
Michaela Krahwinkel was honored during a special panel, and a condolence book was laid out in her memory. Michaela was a founding advisory board member and sadly passed away far too early in December 2024.

Frankfurt proved to be the perfect location
The venue was also a great choice: after previously hosting the summit at the Leonardo Hotel in Mannheim, this year’s Radisson Blu in Frankfurt offered significantly more space and event areas – allowing 500 participants instead of the previous 250 to attend.
So we can proudly say: We’ll be back!
