We wish all our Fondsfrauen members, as well as our sponsors and supporters, a Merry Christmas and wonderful, restful days as we transition into the New Year!
We hope everyone has managed to clear their desks and check off their to-do lists as much as possible, so that we can now truly enjoy some peaceful and cozy days. Days where we can reflect on the past year, savor the moments, and be grateful. Grateful for all that we’ve accomplished, for our exciting careers in one of the most dynamic industries, and for the fact that we are doing well.
We are also thinking of women in other regions
Of course, there’s still work to do regarding women’s empowerment here in Europe, but we’ve also achieved so much already. This is particularly evident when we consider the challenges women face in other regions and cultural contexts. We think of the incredibly brave women in Iran or those in Afghanistan, whose rights have been increasingly restricted since the Taliban’s rise to power. That’s why our Christmas donation this year went to the Afghanischen Frauenverein (AFV)This organization supports medical care, access to clean drinking water, education, sponsorships, and provides survival aid to women on the ground.
Staying Attentive Locally in 2025
Naturally, we remain committed to advocating for women’s equality in Germany, Luxembourg, Austria, and Switzerland. We’ll continue working to ensure that women in the finance industry progress on equal footing and that companies benefit from greater diversity. This is especially crucial in these dynamic and transformative times. Then again, aren’t the times always exciting and challenging?
It was fantastic that in 2024 we were able to meet and exchange ideas in person so often! Thanks to your enthusiasm and commitment, we increased the number of Fondsfrauen events compared to the previous year. Meeting, sharing experiences, and supporting one another is what a women’s network is all about! Take advantage of these opportunities again in 2025!
We already have exciting plans for you in the coming year – that’s a promise! On March 31, our Summit will take place, this time on a larger scale in Frankfurt. The event website was completed just in time for the New Year.
But for now, let’s celebrate what we’ve achieved! Enjoy a cozy Christmas season with your loved ones, and have a great start to 2025!
